This is a unique and engaging production of Romeo & Juliet. The four-man cast is excellent, and there is creative use of the minimal set, which pairs well with the taut delivery to focus your attention on the interaction between the characters! ...continued

Once again another Cygnet success. We never stop loving their productions. Always a treat. Can't wait for Company.

This is basically a re-telling (though I use that term loosely) of Romeo & Juliet via the Dead Poets Society, set in a boys parochial school in the 60s wherein the star-crossed lovers are two of the boys. Nearly all of the dialogue is lifted...continued

This was a very interesting take on Romeo and Juliet with an all male cast. It is not a gay play by any means. They do so much with very little props and costumes. The young actor who played Romeo had a very nice happy trail.

A very good, fresh look at a classic play. Four young men in boarding school play out the tale of Romeo and Juliet with passion and verve. It is interlaced with with themes of youthful discovery and sexuality. In addition to the outstanding...continued

The play was very well acted. And they were creative with a limited prop set. This is an FYI...from the description, I thought that the play would be something between a "Dead Poet's Society" and "Romeo & Juliet." It wasn't. Except for a...continued

The beginning was a little strange, but bear with it. It becomes very good, and is very creative. What I didn't understand initially, and wish I had, was that it is the entire original Romeo and Juliet text performed by these boys. I thought there...continued

Cygnet never disappoints (and not just because my friends Sean and Bill run the joint!). Amazing, moving performances by these four actors. Very powerful and an interesting take on Romeo & Juliet.

Don't be confused, you are watching Romeo and Juliet using Shakespeare's script, albeit encased in a 1964 all-boys Catholic school. The acting is superb. Unless you read the playbill ahead of time, you may be confused as to why the school and the...continued

Gifted actors brought this telling of Romeo and Juliet to life in a very moving production. Congats to Cynet Theatre.

It was just 4 boys doing Romeo and Juliet. Not a whole lot was changed about it. Sure there was a gay love story but in the end, it was just Romeo and Juliet, on a minimal stage, told by 4 boys. I was hoping their was going to be two stories...continued

The acting was excellent however the dialect and the change of characters allowed for confusion several times in the relatively long show.

Took my family to see this play and they enjoyed it. Get there early to have dinner at Old Town there are many places to eat then walk over to the Cygnet Theatre. There is parking there for only people who are watching the show so print your...continued

A great play, superbly directed, with a cast that would have been at home on Broadway. Cygnet never fails to achieve great theatre, but this may be the best production yet.

Amazing what four men and a very spare stage can do! Intimate theater, no bad seats.
