The young couple in John & Maggie has just moved into their first home, gifted to them by John's uncle. The young man wants to use his skills as a carpenter to create a life for he and his wife, but when a mysterious child suddenly appears in their lives, it changes the couple in ways neither could imagine. Written by two-time Emmy winner D.M. Larson and directed by Jennie Hamilton, this warm holiday tale is a great way to kick off the Christmas season. Learn More

I was very impressed with the theatre, the caliber of acting and the manner in which we were welcomed and respected as audience members. This was my first time at C.A.T. and I will definitely return. My favorite performer was Portia who evoked such strong emotions in her portrayal of Janelle. I relived the assasination Dr. King as I would never have experienced as a young white child at the time of his death. Her heartfelt and passionate reaction was intensified by the intimate setting. My only critique would be the 'too pat' ending which I hoped could be true but seemed like an easy way out of a very tough situation. Life is so messy, it doesn't wrap up easily. I prefer small venues and am glad to have found this one! I will be back!
