Directed by Bill Condon (films Chicago, Dreamgirls) and inspired by the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, La Jolla Playhouse's production of the Tony Award-nominated musical Side Show follows the two sisters -- literally joined at the hip -- on their meteoric rise to fame during the 1930s and beyond. Track their personal and professional lives from circus sideshow freaks to vaudeville headliners as well as their lifelong search for independence and love. From the composer of Dreamgirls, Side Show features the songs "I Will Never Leave You," "Who Will Love Me As I Am?" and "Come Look at the Freaks." Learn More

The Lamb's Ensemble presents its adaptation of C.S. Lewis' Till We Have Faces for a limited run at the Horton Grand Theatre in the Gaslamp.
Till We Have Faces is an epic retelling of the Psyche and Cupid Myth, an imaginative tale set in a land to the west of ancient Greece. One of literature's most memorable female characters, Orual, must make a remarkable journey to understand what has happened to her beautiful younger sister, Psyche. Pageantry, sword-play and a gorgeous musical score combine to make a riveting and profoundly moving story.
Featuring Jesse Abeel, Bryan Barbarin, Season Marshall Duffy, David Cochran Heath, Jon Lorenz, Kerry Meads, Colleen Kollar Smith, Lance Arthur Smith, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, Robert Smyth and Sarah Zimmerman.
