L.A. audiences can catch the tour at the Greek Theatre, where Lauper will perform the album in its entirety, from "Money Changes Everything" to "Yeah Yeah." You'll hear all the big hits: "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun," "Time After Time," "She Bop" and more. Relive the quirky, colorful sounds of the early '80s and the album that made Cyndi Lauper a household name, winning her a place in musical history as the first female artist to have four top 10 singles on a debut album. Written on Dec 30 2012Each band was outstanding. The finale with QUEEN was beyond Amazing! Truly, I thougth Eddie had risen from the dead. Terrific Event.
Written on Jun 29 2012I had never been to liberty station, I found the venue to be very nice. It was a beautiful day, not to crowded and performers were great. The event was much more relaxed then I had anticipated but was very happy about that.
Written on Jun 27 2012Great bands and very well organized.
Written on Jun 26 2012This was a great way to connect to the music of different artists without the outrageous ticket prices of the real thing. We liked the venue: lots of grassy areas to relax on, plenty of nearby parking, the Will Call worked well, quality food trucks on both sides of the field, good selection of draft beers, and lots of porta-potties. The only thing missing was wine vendors for those who don't care for beer -- decent quality wine, please. I liked that we could bring in our own chairs, coolers, food, and non-alcoholic drinks. The staff kept the place picked up and there were adequate trash cans for guests to easily deal with their own trash. One minor complaint: The lineup of performers kept changing, so we couldn't really plan our arrival time to ensure we caught the acts we wanted to see. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing event. Let's do it again in San Diego!
