Superstar sisters Nora & Delia Ephron, writers of some of the most popular romantic comedies in history -- including Sleepless in Seattle and When Harry Met Sally -- bring a hilarious and poignant collection of stories to the stage in Love, Loss and What I Wore. Based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, this show features women telling intimate stories inspired by the articles of clothing they were wearing at the time. As adapted by the Ephron sisters, masters of depicting the female psyche, Love, Loss and What I Wore casts a funny, surprising and touching light on moments that every woman will relate to. This PlayHouse production brings the show that Variety called "powerful, sweet and saucy" to the stage of the Lyceum Theater.

Really loved the performance and the actors. The layout of the venue (Searsucker) really lent itself in creating different "stages." The nature of the performance requires situating yourself around the performers (up close and personal) so there was a lot of audience participation!
This is a revival of last summer’s production at Space 4 Art. In association with the San Diego Guild of Puppetry, this innovative and immersive theatrical spectacle includes live music, puppets, murder, mayhem, improvisation, and a very silly horse. The Max Fischer Players are in residence at celebrity chef Brian Malarkey’s Searsucker, just named one of the forty hottest restaurants in America by Gayot. The action takes place throughout the restaurant and encourages audience interaction.
