It should be noted that parking is really not "across the street." Though you do walk from across the street you have to enter the lot from a street away. Cost $10. Might park cheaper near city hall and walk over the few blocks.

This was so much fun and it was a wonderful day. The crew was so nice and had so much additional information about the sea life and area. Fun event very friendly and informative staff. Only wish they warned people to bring warm hooded jackets and hats because weather conditions became quite chilly during part of the cruise. Great price. Will do it again if offered next time in San Diego.Written on Apr 12 2012

Celebrate 10 years of whale watching with Scripps naturalists and Flagship Cruises & Events with cruises to locate gray whales on their roundtrip migration from the Bering Sea to Baja’s breeding grounds. Tours last approximately 3-3.5 hours.
All tours are expertly guided by naturalists from the Birch Aquarium at Scripps.
Search for other marine life such as seals, sea lions, migrating birds, and more. Get a close-up look and learn about gray whale baleen, barnacles, and prey items from naturalists during the cruise.
