Gregory Hines, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers would have loved this performance, for it showed that tap dancing is not only alive and well, but it survives because it is timeless in its addictive appeal. The tap talent displayed on stage was dazzling. The variety of performances, the live musicians, and the enthusiasm of the audience made for a magical evening.Written on Aug 22 2011

Description
As an exciting new addition to this year’s lineup, Melinda Sullivan of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance joins a roster of today’s tap stars from Broadway, film, and the concert stage, including Music Director Channing Cook Holmes (Riverdance, Gangs of New York, Bojangles), Festival Director John Kloss (Tap Heat), Mark Mendonca (The Polar Express; Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk), Jason Rodgers (Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk), Sam Weber (Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood), and more. And, the Barbary Coast Cloggers return for another showdown (or possibly, hoedown?) with the tappers!
