The Purple Onion is a small, casual location to witness comedy in the city. I had an enjoyable time.Written on May 23 2011

Description
The San Francisco Improv Festival is ecstatic to bring to the Bay Area one of the funniest women in comedy today: 30 Rock's Kay Cannon.
Kay will be talking about her experience as a writer with Tina Fey and their array of insanely talented colleagues on one of the most original, successful comedies on TV today. She'll be covering how she got involved with the show, and the role of improvisation on a show dominated by people who got their start in improv comedy. She'll also talk about favorite scenes she's written, as well as comment on the changing role of women in comedy.
The SFIF's own Anthony Veneziale will be interviewing Kay, and fielding questions from the audience.
About the Ticket Supplier: The San Francisco Improv Festival
