Tom Orr has done it again. With his brilliant mind and beautiful body he's put together yet another evening of well-crafted parody lyrics sung to well-known showtunes (with lots of Sondheim, of course.) In the first preview he was forgetting some of his (own) lyrics, but he handled it so well it became part of the show. Although there are some tantalizing glimpses of the Orr family jewels, the show's emphasis was not on the physical but on the cleverness and timeliness of the lyrics and the outrageous costumes.
Not to be overlooked is the contribution of Scrumbly Koldewyn, his musical director, well known man-about-town, and former Cockette. This is a definite must-see for lovers of show tunes and gay humor.

Allen Sawyer and musical director and accompanist Scrumbly Koldewyn to add his satirical lyrical spin to another disarray of classic showtunes with a twist.
