Lovely intimate theater, with a thrust stage, so you are in the middle of it. This is the real play, not the Marlon Brando version, so you get to see the real Blanche.Written on Jun 29 2007

the set was great, and Blanche was superb. But as a whole, the play started to come undone in the second act. It was a preview, so maybe they've cleaned it up a bit by now. Blanche was a little distracted at times though. I liked the intimate setting of the show, but I think that combined with the enthusiasm of some of the actors, made it a little loud at times. Overall a positively fine experience.Written on Jun 11 2007

I have just seen better productions and so felt negatively about this but I still admire all the hard work that went into this difficult play.Written on Jun 08 2007

The intimate setting heightened the dramatic tension. The cast did a great job. The play is one of the outstanding works of American literature.Written on Jul 09 2007

More Information About A Streetcar Named Desire
Description
A Streetcar Named Desire is the haunting story of a beautiful woman who was betrayed by love. Blanche DuBois, tormented by the memory of her tragic marriage and the scandal she had precipitated in the small Southern town of her birth, flees to New Orleans to find refuge with her sister. But her sensual, crude brother-in-law resents her presence, and in a violent, passionate rage, exposes her past and cuts off her last chance of escape from the squalid misery of her life. One of America’s greatest playwrights, Tennessee Williams’ classic is a timeless masterpiece.
