No topic is taboo for Ryan Stout, whose clean-cut look belies his nature to delve into morally repugnant subject matter with smart and sterile objectivity for big laughs. Using exaggerated honesty, delightful insincerity and mock self-righteousness, Stout's wickedly dark material appeals to everyone's sense of logic. Make no mistake, Stout will talk about rape and abortion, but to keep things on an intellectual level, he'll do his best not to curse. A veteran of Chelsea Lately and various MTV shows, Stout will take you into a dark corner ... and make you laugh out loud. Learn More

This was hysterical! I haven't laughed that hard in ages!! There were some very funny spoofs on Jack's movies that reminded me of SNL. It was well worth the price of admission, better than paying to see a movie. Would love to take some other friends, so I hope it comes back to SF!Written on Oct 12 2009

It was a funny show for the money. The venue was small but that was nice for this type of show.Written on Oct 12 2009

This show show go to Off Broadway in NYc-It was that good. If you are a Jack Nicholson Fan (or expert) you will be totally entertained. The show starts from "Easy Rider" and works its way up to "AS Good as It Gets" with hilarious sketches based on his movie roles which are also biographically accurate-true stories behond the story. All were talented and well prepared. Although some didn't took like Jack, each actor got something right-his smile, his body language, or his "hipness/coolness". My wife and I felt it was one of the best shows in SF that we have seen in years. The Brando imitation was also great.Written on Oct 12 2009

The premise is a clever one, but unfortunately the cast isn't talented enough to pull it off. I noticed the woman next to me looking at her watch every ten or fifteen minutes, and that's the way I felt; I couldn't wait for the show to end. It was silly and, for the most part, boring.Written on Oct 12 2009

More Information About All About Jack: The Impersonators of Jack Nicholson
Description
Bay Area native Patrick O’Sullivan found a comedy niche in 2006 with his unique live show “All About Walken: The Impersonators of Christopher Walken.” The tribute’s strange brew of Walken’s life, audience participation, improvisation, multimedia, song and dance continues to tickle audiences in Los Angeles (recently headlining The Improv comedy club) and has also traveled to Sacramento, Stockton and San Francisco. Now he is back with a new muse that National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” calls his “labor of love.” The show is based on O’Sullivan’s favorite actor and is titled “All About Jack: The Impersonators of Jack Nicholson.”
The Walken show packed the S.F. Comedy Clubhouse for 2 nights last October with 7 male and female Walken impersonators and a band of other characterizations ranging from George W. Bush to Jim Carrey. This time “All About Jack” brings 8 “Jacks” to the same venue and one vivacious vixen. The troop of young and old Nicholsons also enact Marlon Brando, Kobe Bryant and Fidel Castro to name a few, on the wild ride through the life and times of perhaps Hollywood’s greatest star.
