I had fun this first time, but after going again 2 years later I need to downgrade this to discourage others from wasting their time.Written on Jan 26 2009

No place for 0 stars? Shame. Last time I went the antics had some essence of realism, making it fun and exciting. This was like a big fart joke - they didn't even try to make the aggressive moves look real - they were always smiling right through them. I could throw better fake punches... my dog could. I think the great return of Roller Derby had its moment, but it is over. (Even my friend's 2 kids found it totally fake and boring.)Written on Aug 28 2011

Lot's of fun! It was just as cheezy and uproariously fun as I remembered it being from the roller derby watching of my youth. Pro wrestling on wheels baby!!Written on Jan 26 2009
The crowd was totally into it and it was a full-on family-friendly event with lot's of kids cheering on the hometown team and booing the visitors.

I didn't go but 2 friends did. They said they felt like they were in Concord... not SF, haha. It was guys and girls roller derby and the match was more like WWF fake style fighting than the real deal. They said it was ok - but I'll probably still check it out myself. I'll just have to remember my mullet and trucker hat apparently. Concord...Written on Jun 10 2010
