Really great production, with great cast. It's a heartwarming story about coming out during arguably very bad times, and how he can pull it off with strong family support. It was totally unexpected (judging from the title) but it really touched my heart. Go watch this one, you definitely don't want to miss this!Written on Sep 26 2010

Enjoyable. I particularly loved the father and mother. I think the lead actor was very good. I wasn't fond of the casting in the role of the brother and the coach. I think the roles required difference skills than those that were cast. On the whole, an enjoyable show.Written on Oct 25 2010

This was a surprisingly sweet and very smartly written play (but I thought some of the lines were predictable gags), performed with impressive earnestness by the whole cast (with great comedic timing and nice emotional range). The set was another spectacular accomplishment for NCTC: always packing in great scenic design into small spaces. Unfortunately, the intimacy of the small theater seems to lead many audience members into believing they are watching TV in their living rooms, so there was endless "talk back" chatter - as if nobody else could hear them. This distraction is uncalled for in any theater, and took focus away from the real star which was the story unfolding on the stage. But a very good job by NCTC for sharing this story with us.Written on Oct 25 2010
