GOOD: lots of varied art, lots of different mediums, good set up/display

BAD: small and not very good food selection, seating for food area tiny and uncomfotable, VERY hot and stuffy throughout exhibition hall

Professionally organized. Displays and lighting adequate to excellent. Style diversity. Classy (not pushy) exhibitors.

Was a fabulous show, but really to bipg and exhausting...not enough resting places or cafes...only one at one far end.

Art work was great, floors were hard!!!

We are both artists and enjoyed this exhibition very much. There was a variety of mediums and we learned some new techniques. The hall is set up well, with food and seating spaced thruout. You could spend a whole afternoon there, it is so extensive and interesting.

This is the first event of its kind that I've been to. It was a great experience! Loved that there were so many galleries from all over the US! Lots to see and appreciate.

Amazing showcase of modern art presented by artists and their agents from all over the country. Mostly of very high quality, for those who are willing to spend/splurge!

An amazing display of contemporary art. Creativity was incredible. The display area was huge and packed with out of this world art and sculpture.

It was, fabulous...Far exceeding my expectations. The range of techniques, visions, and talent made it one of my best art spectator experiences. I can hardly wait to return next year.

Not nearly as interesting as the OTHER art show that same weekend.

Would like to see this event expanded with a wider range of galleries. I still enjoyed it and discovered one new local artist and one new national artist.

The selection was fabulous and opened your mind to unique possibilities of artful expression.Better than going to a museum, because if you fall in love with an art piece, you can buy it!

It was excellent; large eclectic collection, roomy despite many visitors, and an area for refreshments after roaming for at least two hours. There were so many ideas under one roof, and the exhibitors had taken great pride in their presentations.

This was a wonderful exhibit. So many versatile paintings, sculptures and sketches. We were there 4 hrs. and never got tired or bored. I just found out about this exhibit this year, but will watch for it every year from now on. Thanks to Goldstar.

Didn't know what to expect. Thought it might be kind of cheezy but noooooo. Very high end art galleries, lots of amazing work. Great place to see tons of galleries from NYC, SF and beyond all under one roof. Unfortunately, most all out of my price range.

My daughter and granddaughter attended this event with me. It was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it! My granddaughter is an artist and she was very pleased with the different types of art shown. It was very inspiring for her and it has motivated her to investigate the use of different mediums in her art. We plan to attend again next. year.

very well done---some local artists I knew from Open Studios and that made me feel good that they have done so well. Each area had it's own theme and was well thought out.

AMAZING artwork.... Spent most of the day there. Did not know about the event that was part of it, called ARTPAD... A little laid back and the art work was casual and more on the barzar side. Love it, loved them both

this show was like a mini ArtBasel Miami Beach. Not nearly as extensive but incredibly worthwhile. The quality of the work shown was phenomenal. Truly a must see for anyone interested in contemporary art. I only wished I had bought a multi-day pass. After I left, I realized that I wanted to see many of the artists' work again and hadn't written down their names or galleries

This was a feast for the eyes, heart and soul. Wonderful, interesting, even outstanding works of art right at our fingertips. Many known and up and coming contemporary artists represented. Great opportunity for collectors.

Most of the art was of high quality, not that over-prices pseudo art that so often is seen in galleries these days. Kala Institute was a highlight as was the photography at Peter Fetterman Gallery

Thank you Goldstar. It's fun to grab a friend and go see artwork even if I can't afford to touch, much less purchase, such art. I noticed alot of art professionals making the rounds, taking notes and everyone looked pleased. I don't "get" alot of art, nor the prices they charge for it. There was a really cool huge wood chair I adored... it was $30,000!!! obviously, I'm not an expert. Anyway, the closest thing to a "WOW factor" for me were the Tent Dresses which combines art with eco-technology... interesting mix of photography and performance art... a definite standout.

This venue is FABULOUS! I've attended many events in both ends of the building and am more inclined to attend an event if it's at this location. Drink and food prices were as exhorbitant as the art, though.

What a wonderful venue to see all the artwork :) It blew my mind away on the creativity and beautiful work done. My family and I enjoyed it tremendously.

probably most meaningful to those in the art business. i am just an art lover who likes to look (not buy). some interesting modern pieces. worthwhile spending an hour or two, max.

Very well organized and the galleries were 1st rate. I was able to see works by artists I knew and be introduced to many new (to me) artists.

I got the free All-Day Pass from Goldstar. I really enjoyed this event - lots of great work from galleries all over California and a couple from NY. I wish I had gone a little earlier so I could enjoy more of the fair.

Excellent exhibits. This was my first time attending the show and I was extremely pleased and glad that I attended. Can't compliment the galleries enough. Each seemed on par with the next and the next.

Neither of the major art shows were truly distinguished in national art world terms, but both were enjoyable. What I didn't understand was why the two didn't have a shuttle bus that ran between SoMa and Fort Mason. I didn't take a car, and had to use two buses. The shows should do a better job of working together.

I enjoyed it so much I sent a congratulatory email to the producers the night I got home from the event. The quality of the art and the nature of the displays far exceeded my expectations. I have been going to the Open Studios for more than twenty years but this was a different scale of things. Of course, there was no free brie nor two buck Chuck but it was well worth going anyway. This is, more than any other kind of collective art event, a venue for very serious and well to do collectors. After all, when a gallery sends two people and its art all the way from London, they clearly aren't just hoping for exposure. As Prince of San Francisco, I endorse this event.

The event is a great opportunity to see the best artworks from some of the best local and national galleries.

Personally, I was not impressed by the majority of the artwork but the event was well organized and the space was fun.

The event was very informative and informal. Really relaxed environment and just a great way to see a lot of modern/contemporary art from around the world. I look forward to going again next year!

This was a great event. Well organized. Just the right amount of artwork to enjoy. A good turnout but not so packed that you can't enjoy it. I will certainly go again in the future.
