Freddy Cole Sings the Great American Songbook at the RRazz Room
- Full Price:
- $40.00
- Our Price:
- $20.00
Just in time for Valentine's Day, spend an evening with Lionel Frederick "Freddy" Cole, the youngest brother of Nat "King" Cole. There are certain unmistakable similarities between the brothers' voices and, just like Nat, Freddy plays piano and sings, yet his voice is raspier, smokier and perhaps even jazzier. Freddy Cole is a nonpareil vocal interpreter of the Great American Songbook and a superbly swinging pianist to boot. Head out to the RRazz Room with your sweetheart for a concert to remember. This was R&B royalty at it's best!! It was personable and intimate. I love the Rrazz Room as it is and seeing A&S there, was icing on the cake. And it was my birthday (11/11) as well. I was surrounded by other birthdays as well. My most memorable momenet was when Valarie came off the stage and shared her mic with me singing along with her. This is a night/momment I won't soon forget. Thanks Goldstar!!!Written on Nov 13 2009

LOVED the show! They are as always SOLID AS A ROCK! Terrific band. Was glad to see a sellout crowd---the place was packed. Unfortunately this caused a delay seating everyone so the show started very late.Written on Nov 09 2009

It is difficult to write comments about last evening's performance by Ashford & Simpson because I am still so 'wired' from the energy, music and audience response! This couple have contributed so much to the music world, ti was an honor to hear them perform some of the oldies along with a current musical play they are creating! No wonder every performance at the RRAZZ ROOM is sold out! An evening of foot stomping, hand clapping, body rocking & folling and singing along!Written on May 14 2008

I absolutely loved the show -took my friend for her birthday and she was very very happy. Unfortunately, the waiter/audience ratio was not working for me...took to long to get drinks, took too long to get inside, and I prefer getting my own seating (a la Yoshi's). We are adults and know where and how to sit. I would like to be seated 30 minutes before a show and be able to have a drink and a snack and not be interrupted during the show by your waiters. Too little too late. I will go back only for the entertainers. Also, why aren't there any women waiters - in my experience, they work faster/harder than men. From someone who has attended over 500 shows of all sizes and locations...get up to speed or folks will not return. I hope RRazz entertainment gets this message.Written on May 19 2008
