I liked the atmosphere in the conservatory, first of all. Dvorak"s symphony was great. But with the Rachmaninoff (who I love incredibly) we made a mistake taking seats behind the orchestra, on the balcony. The sound of piano was too far from us, but trumpets - exactly under our noses. Such a pity We could not hear clearly the wonderful piano performance.Written on Sep 21 2009
