I love Betty...thought this show was even warmer than the one about a year ago. Such a great storytelling singer. And moving! She emotes so well that she cries as much as we do! Or was that just me? And it was thrilling to meet her for chat and autographs outside.
Odd thing is I was seated with 3 older folks of whom I enjoyed the company but the waitress took their order but never mine. Luckily, one of the 3 didn't want her drink after all and the gent offered it to me. Yoshi's went from being agressive about the 2 drink min to not even bothering with the one. What's up with that?

Betty tells a story with each song that she sings. Her enthusiasm for these wonderful songs and the people who wrote them, and then her rendition were wonderful. And I loved the stories she told between songs. I highly recommend her show.

The intelligence of her song selections, the beauty of her arrangements and artistry of her interpretation transform Betty Buckley's concerts into an intimate evening of enchantment, romance and fun. I loved her on Broadway; but, it's in concert where her majic truly plucks my heartstrings. I've seen her twice at Yoshi's and will come again and again. Please bring her back soon.

She is a charismatic performer with lots of heart even though her voice did not always deliver. She was best on the the jazzy ones that did not require such a great range. However, the show was excellent and you'd like her even if she couldn't sing.
