This 'Event" was a joke in itself. We were surprised at what we found when we got there. The place was terrible, the drinks tasted like poison, and the "staff" was scary!!! Didn't bother to stick around after waiting over an hour for the show to startWritten on Sep 20 2010

Big Al Presents: Live at the Onion is becoming one of the hottest shows in California. This show brings an eclectic mix of the hottest comics in the comedy scene today. Many comics that perform on the show have been seen on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, Last Comic Standing and the many late night talk shows.
Big Al is known for his BIG comedy style. He started his comedy career interviewing comics back in college. After college, he performed with Big City Improv in SF, where they were honored as "Best Of The Bay" in 2002. In 2003 he was introduced to the SF comedy scene and fastly became a staple in local shows. Now in 2010 Big Al opens and features for nationally touring comics and is touring with "The Chicano Kings Of Comedy" as well as "The Big Ass Comedy Show".
Big Al has been seen in the national PSA "Click It Or Ticket" and performed on KOFY Creepy Time Movie. You can catch Big Al on Pirate Cat Radio Tuesday 4-6pm on his Podcast "Set Up, Punch".
