Comedian Michael McDonald headlines Cobb's Comedy Club with his wacky stand-up comedy. McDonald is best known for his 10 years on Fox's MADtv, during which time he created such memorable characters as eccentric kid Stuart Larkin, nerdy college student Rusty Miller, Marvin Tikvah, Mofaz the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man, and Bible Dude. He's also acted on Seinfeld, NewsRadio and Ellen, and appeared in all three Austin Powers movies. He directed and guest starred on several episodes of Scrubs, and wrote and directed several episodes of ABC's Cougar Town. Great local comedian showcase, and especially loved the "musical guest" Saw Dem Eyez. Wouldnt get that any other place!

The comedians were all good. The silly "band" at the end was horrible. I know they were trying to be funny but just how many times can one say "butt" until it gets really (really) old. Bad way to end the show. Stick to comedians for a comedy club. Leave those guys to... no idea what they would be appropriate for.

More Information About Big Al's Big Ass Comedy Show

Description

Big Al has performed throughout the States, entertaining audiences with his smooth and easy going delivery. Big Al lives in L.A. but is originally from Silicon Valley, where he studied stage acting and improvisational comedy. He toured with Big City Improv in the early 2000's, and the group won "Best Of The Bay" in 2002. You may have seen Big Al on TV in the national PSA for "Click It Or Ticket" where he played a "happy passenger". Big Al has also toured with The Chicano Comedy All-Stars, The Burger Kings Of Comedy, and The Three Jarheads.
