Take a beautiful bicycle ride on the Bay Trail over the Golden Gate Bridge to charming Sausalito. The tour is an easy to moderate 9-mile adventure (one way), as the majority of the ride is flat, and the last 3 miles are downhill. You'll see Fisherman's Wharf, Aquatic Park, Ghirardelli Square, Fort Mason, the Marina Green, Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio and Fort Point before heading across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, with its shops, views of Alcatraz and Angel Island, and more. Throughout the tour, an experienced tour guide will share fun and interesting information about each sight. Afterward, either bike back on your own to the starting point, or return across the Bay with your bike at your leisure by ferry.

The guide was a pleasant young man who had been with Bike and Roll 3 months. The tour started at the Columbus Street store and I wondered why it did not begin at the Embacadero store, as the Columbus store was inconvenient to get to.
There were two of us on the tour plus the guide so he spent much time chatting with each of us.
