Formed by Doug "Cosmo" Clifford and Stu Cook, two of the founding members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Creedence Clearwater Revisited plays classic hits such as "Fortunate Son," "Bad Moon Rising," "Proud Mary," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and many more. The two are joined by lead singer/rhythm guitar player John Tristao (formerly of the band People), lead guitarist Kurt Griffey (who's toured with members of the Eagles, Foreigner and more) and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner. What started as a plan to perform at private parties has turned into almost 20 years of touring to enthusiastic crowds. The band even released an album, "Recollection," in 2008 featuring their version of CCR songs. Fans of CCR and classic rock will love hearing the band's hits live with the same energy they had back in the day. Joining Creedence Clearwater Revisited is Robert Randolph & The Family Band, who have an upbeat, soul/funk/gospel sound. Randolph was also named one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time by Rolling Stone. Learn More

We were looking forward to this concert for a few weeks so finding tickets on Goldstar was a real plus. We had tickets for the main floor which were okay but we realized that after a song or two, how much better the sound was up in the balcony. (We were just at this venue last week for Earth, Wind and Fire and sat in the balcony.) Since we could see there was balcony seating, we headed up. We ended up standing for most of Blondie (we didn't see the opening act because we arrived late) which was fine with us. We usually end up standing at these kind of concerts anyway and so do a lot of other people it seems. This particular venue is one we've been to quite a lot so we know what to expect. Acoustics are good and the staff are usually cool with everybody. They have bars set up both downstairs and upstairs and restrooms on both floors as well. One tip--negotiating the stairs in the balcony can get tricky in the dark. I'm speaking from experience, unfortunately. Don't ask. As for parking, we got lucky this time. Somebody was just pulling out of a spot. We won't park in the lot. Too expensive and it takes forever to get out of the lot after a show. Better to park down the hill and hike up, take a cab up or take the cablecar. Anyway, we had a great night once again thanks, in part, to Goldstar.

5 Stars for Blondie -- fantastic! Can NOT believe Debbie Harry is 68!?! Cool to see her come out in a witch-like costume at the beginning of their set! She puts on a great show & her voice is still in good shape after all these years. Loved,...continued
