Written on Nov 12 2012This concert was just what I needed. Bobby Caldwell sung all of my favorites songs and he allowed audience participation which I thought was nice considering. Well worth driving to San Francisco from Fairfield.
Written on Nov 12 2012I have been a Bobby Caldwell fan since 1979 and have never grown tired of listening to his music or attending his concerts. He remains as good as ever and is still recording fresh material in lieu of strtictly performing his greatest hits (although he does those too.) This by far was my favorite concert because the Razz Room is true cabaret--up close and personal so Mr. Caldwell let loose with extended versions of his material. His backup band provded tremendous support. A great concert that will always be fondly remembered.
Written on Nov 12 2012We didn't know what to expect - first time at Rrazz room. It was a great forum for Bobby Caldwell. Everyone was 'close' enough and the band was super! Really in sync with each other and Bobby. We had never seen Bobby in person and it's amazing how much voice comes out - he is not a large man but he sounds much larger. The audience loved all his tunes and brought him back for 1 more. Fabulous rendition of Etta James, "At Last". Super show - very, very impressed. It's a big deal to go into SF these days - but getting to the Rrazz room was simple on BART and well worth it!
Written on Nov 12 2012Had the most wonderful time. Bobby Caldwell and band nailed every song. For sure it was an up-close and personal concert. What a special treat to see them perform.
