Hosted by Behrendt, a veteran stand-up comic and author of He's Just Not That Into You, this unique show features top comedians telling hilarious and compelling stories about the bands they love, embarrassing encounters with their musical idols, and more. Each story is followed by a cover of one of the band's songs by Greg's band, The Reigning Monarchs. Guests include Mary Lynn Rajskub of 24 and Mr. Show fame, beloved deadpan comic and prolific character actor Todd Barry ( Flight of the Conchords, The Wrestler), Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Dave Anthony, who co-hosts the hit podcast Walking the Room with Greg.

I have been to many comedy shows and by far this was the worst show I have ever been to. Not funny at all.

What is Bring The Rock? Hosted by Greg Behrendt, Bring The Rock features compelling, confessional, and often hilarious stories from comics and musicians about the music and bands that rock them, embarrassing encounters with rock notables, and dreams of or flirtations with rock and roll glory. Each "rocktail" is followed by a KCRW worthy cover of said band/song by Greg’s band, The Reigning Monarchs.
