I had a hard time finding any humor behind most of the jokes. They did a series of sketches that I didn't think were funny at all. I would not want to sit through this again. Sorry guys, wished I liked it more!

Most of the comics weren't funny in this set. There was only 1 comic in the entire stand that was remotely funny. I wouldn't recommend going to this show. They based a lot of their humor off of their movies and even if you have seen the movies (as I have) it still isn't funny. >:(

Save your money on this one and go to a movie theater!

The performance was all stand-up. We were expecting sketch comedy from this group. The description of this event said:

"They're touring the country with a blend of sketch comedy, stand-up, old and new characters, and many more surprises."

There was no sketch comedy, no old and new characters, and frankly, no surprises.

We really enjoy their movies, but we were disappointed with the standup. No real gut-busting jokes, and very few that were actually laugh-out-loud funny. They should dedicate some more time to their routine.

More Information About Broken Lizard Live

Description

Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske comprise the five-member filmmaking comedy group Broken Lizard. Broken Lizard formed at Colgate University as a student sketch comedy group. They began their feature film career with the award-winning debut Puddle Cruiser in 1996. They followed up with the independently-financed, cult-hit Super Troopers and the horror-comedy Club Dread. In 2005, the group co-wrote and acted in the film remake of the popular 70’s television series The Dukes of Hazzard, directed by Chandrasekhar, and in 2006 released Beerfest. They recently finished their next film, The Slammin’ Salmon and are in post production on a film they produced with Counting Crows front man Adam Duritz, titled Freeloaders.

Currently Broken Lizard is returning to their sketch comedy roots, embarking on a nationwide tour. Join all five members as they present stand-up, live sketches (including appearances by characters from Super Troopers and Beerfest), improv, and original films.
