The Jean Shelton Foundation presents Beyond Therapy, by Christopher Durang, a playwright famed for his outrageous and absurd comedy. Beyond Therapy centers around Prudence and Bruce, Manhattanites in therapy to turn around their poor track record with romance. Their therapists encourage them to place personal ads, leading to a disastrously funny first date between the two. As the two would-be romantics stumble toward a relationship with each other, it becomes increasingly clear that the therapists are more troubled than their patients. Beyond Therapy is Durang's most frequently produced play. Learn More
