See a R&B legend live in concert when Dennis Edwards brings his group, The Temptations Review, to Yoshi's Jazz Club in San Francisco. The lead singer of the Temptations from 1968 to 1977, and again from 1979 to 1983, Edwards was heard on such classic recordings as "Cloud Nine," "I Can't Get Next to You," "Ball of Confusion" and "Psychedelic Shack," as well as the singles "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" and "Masterpiece." He's won five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. These days, he's touring the country with his own group, singing the Temptations' classic songs. Learn More

C&K performed with high energy, even for their second set that started a little after 9 pm. They treated everyone as ohana (family) and encouraged the audience to sing along. They did not short change us as we stood up and applauded appreciatively at the end and almost all yelled out "hana-hou" (encore). They gave us two more favorite songs, again with high energy. We'll be sure to attend their shows as we have heard they do this annually. Mahalo to C&K for a really enjoyable Hawaiian night in one of San Francisco's nicer semi-intimate venue (Yoshi's) where you can see the stage from all seats.Written on Sep 13 2010

Fun show - C and K personable and like a visit to home. Just wish the show was longer and that they could have even more of the older songs.Written on Sep 13 2010
Yoshi's elegant and intimate. Ate at the venue and got very nice seats... but they're all pretty good in this space, :-)

Description
The story began "with a harmony's perfect blending" under a starry night on Oahu's North Shore in February 1973. Then came 8 consecutive months of sold out concerts and six nights a week at the Legendary Rainbow Villa inevitably leading to a multi-album national recording contract with Columbia Records.
The story continued with eight consecutive top selling albums and eight of Hawaii's most prestigious musical Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, sold-out attendance at the Waikiki Shell, The Aloha Stadium and all across the country, as C&K became installed as a household name representing love and happiness throughout the 50th state and beyond.
