The LOOOOOOVVVEEEE Boat, soon will be making another run.... The LOOOOOVVVEEE Boat!

Wow, if I weren't in love with my husband of 26 years before the cruise, I would have been by the end of it. While pricy if compared to just a regular lunch, you can't compare it to a regular lunch.

Where else can you cruise the Bay, learn little factoids that you didn't know, pass under the Golden Gate Bridge, pass by Alcatraz, get serenaded by the Hornblower Lounge Act and enjoy first class food and service?

My favorite items on the buffet were the Brocolli Noodle Salad and the CousCous and Shrimp Salad, and the funny thing, I don't really care for salad. I had a wonderful little petit four sized dessert treat that was persimmon with crushed pistacio's.

Our server Martine must have transferred over from Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. The service was definately Michelan Star Worthy! He kept the beverages topped off, the tables cleared and was constantly refolding your napkin. He was attentive and charming, without being cloying. Our group felt the need to present him with an extra 15% at the end of our adventure.

SUGGESTIONS - If you are going with another couple, I would recommend buying all of your tickets at the same time. Otherwise make sure you note on your reservation that you want sit with the other party. The reservations listed this as a "General Seating" so we arrived early (1st in line) and when we checked in, we were at seperate tables. We asked if we could be moved, but the Maitre'd advised that they were booked and couldn't make changes. Even though we had a party of 2, we were set for a table for 3, so I didn't see why we couldn't add a chair. We ended up switching tables with another couple, giving them our window view. This was the only hiccup in our day.

The cruise was very enjoyable. The day was overcast and rather cool. When we got there, there was a small group of people waiting for the 11 AM boarding time, but they let everyone board about 15 mins. early. The tables were set beautifully. We were offered orange juice and coffee, and were told they would start serving champagne as soon as we got on the way. There was a bar for anyone wanting to purchase other drinks.
The buffet was opened right before we set sail, and it was very organized, with each table being invited up to prevent a big backup. The food was great, the wait staff was very attentive and kept the drinks coming. There was a singer/piano player who also talked about points of interest along the way, and announced special occasions from time to time. We wrote down the names of two people in our party having a birthday and left a tip, but she either forgot to announce them or might have done it when we were out on the deck.
We had our photo taken when we boarded and the prints were available for viewing/purchasing at 2 for $20 for a 5 X 7 size. Not great quality, but a good remembrance of the event.
The cruise was not full. There were several empty tables. As a result, every group had a table by the window. I should also mention that parking was convenient and a reasonable $10.
We had 7 people in our party, and everyone had a great time. Great value for the money. Thank you Goldstar and Amy from customer service for helping to ensure that we all sat together since we'd placed two separate orders for tickets.

It was terrific! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The champagne certainly didn't hurt either. I highly recommend it to tourists and locals alike.

The food was good. Lots of nice sightseeing. Staff was attentive. We left additional gratuity for our server. Cruise was smooth. The couple we took as a gift really enjoyed it as well.
