The performance was as I expected, remarkable.
My favorite song/poem was The Garden of Paradise. What a wonderful comparison by the author in tribute to his brother.
The next performance was the Sirens. I felt the use of the different languagues to relate the tale made the performance more relevant historically.

I first saw Chanticleer in performance at the NY Museum of Art. That performance won me over and I have been a fan since. BRAVO!!

Chanticleer's performances are extremely well-prepared & their sound is super-clean. I found the new music immediately accessible & audience-friendly. On the night I went, 2 of the composer were present to talk about their pieces.
