As advertised, it was a walking tour of Chinatown. We walked through major streets and down some alleys, as the guide told us of the history of this area and the part it and it's inhabitants played in the history of the city. We rested in spots. Took about 2 hours. It was really fascinating. now what was a blur of stores and faces and "Chinese" decor...has a structure and history I understand. the guide was great. She brought fun and humor to the event, but not at the expense of place. Clearly she loves this area and San Francisco.
