First of all, I love San Francisco-there is so much to do there and we had four days to squeeze in as much as possible. So, it was a bit disappointing that it rained the whole day when we went to the Muir woods tour-we were in a covered van for...continued

A tour of many parts of SF that I wasn't even aware existed.I love that the tickets were valid for two more days! That was awesome. It was quite cold and windy but I enjoyed it all the same.

More Information

The Golden Gate/Sausalito Loop departs from Fisherman’s Wharf, passing through the Marina district for a brief photo stop at the Palace of Fine Arts. From here, you continue through the Presidio with beautiful views of the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and Crissy Fields.

Feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face as you get the absolute best view of Alcatraz, Angel Island, Baker Beach and the San Francisco skyline as you ride across the Golden Gate Bridge on the open-top bus.

After a 10-minute photo stop at Vista Point, you will carry on down a scenic, windy road into the quaint coastal town of Sausalito. Hop-off at the main street of Sausalito to shop at boutiques, browse art galleries, eat at California style bistros or stay on the bus to head back to Fisherman’s Wharf. You can take the ferry back to San Francisco (ticket not included) or hop-on the Muir Woods loop (11am or 1pm departure) if you’re not ready to head back.

The tour is family friendly.  In the winter, you may want to go on the top deck of the open-top buses. It can get a little chilly, so blankets and ponchos are provided as needed.

About the Ticket Supplier: City Sightseeing

In 2005 they introduced the first open-top double-decker bus to San Francisco under the City-Sightseeing brand. At the present time, they are the only company in San Francisco to operate Hop On – Hop Off tours and are the largest open-top sightseeing company west of the Mississippi.
