An unusually beautiful late October day at The 'Stick coupled with the Niners going 6-1 for the fist time since 1988 would be hard to beat right? We had a great time as usual, but unfortunately the lot City Parking lot was not open when we showed up around 10am and cars started lining up in the street so the start of tailgating was delayed by half an hour. Then we found out that thanks to the violence at the Niners/Raiders pre-season game, tailgating after the game has been banned. However, we didn't see a single sign pointing this out anywhere in the lots. We found out when a motorcycle cop pulled up on us to make us pull our flank steak off the BBQ half-cooked and dump our coals. Little did he know when we put the flank steak on a foil tray it wasn't to pack it up, but to grill it directly on the coals with the lid closed. Tailgaters - 1, Motorcycle Cop - 0. Come on, though, Niners management: you guys are way overreacting to the situation. Not to mention, some clear signage would be nice so we know ahead of time.
