Noises Off, widely considered the funniest farce ever written, reveals the hilarious backstage happenings during rehearsals and performances of a play dubbed Nothing's On. Award-winning English novelist and playwright Michael Frayn's (Copenhagen, Democracy) comedy is a triumph of slamming doors, falling trousers and even flying sardines, and it remains crowd-pleasing more than 30 years after its 1982 debut. Watch a manic menagerie of itinerant actors as they try to stitch together a sex comedy that's a sure flop, as out-of-control egos, memory loss and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure. Beware: When turning right after walking down the entrance hall there is a small ramp-style step in the floor, leading to a slightly higher floor level. This adjustment is not signed or lit with glowing strips. I tripped on this unexpected rise, and a second member of my party tripped and fell down. A lawsuit waiting to happen! The stairs leading down to the bar are dim as well and need glowing strips to guide the theatergoers.Noises Off info • Aug 31 2014 star this tip starred

“Clown Boswick Has a Ball Leading His Entertaining Life!” —San Francisco Chronicle
Described as “The Clown’s Clown” Boswick’s show is a laugh-filled event for everyone from one to one-hundred-twenty.
Performances include magic, juggling, physical comedy, audience participation, lots of “why did the chicken cross the road?” jokes, acrobatic pratfalls, wily flirtations, and winsome tales that all lead to that great old Vaudeville feeling!
