Stars of MTV's hit comedy series Girl Code Jessimae Peluso and Carly Aquilino trade the small screen for the big stage for this evening of stand-up. Described as "a bottle rocket with a pulse," Jessimae Peluso is a dynamic performer who riffs on everything from her fear of children to her infatuation with John Stamos to her inability to talk dirty with her Syracuse accent. In addition to TV appearances on E!'s Chelsea Lately, MTV's Girl Code and Failosophy, Peluso was named one of the funniest comics to follow on Twitter by The Huffington Post. She's joined by her Girl Code co-star Carly Aquilino, a New York native with a razor-sharp wit who's quickly rising in the comedy scene, performing regularly at The Stand Comedy Club in New York City. My friends and I had a ball and we laughed hard. The venue was great, our seats were awesome, the food was good and the talent was impressive. Louis C.K. even shook hands with us on our way out, and we took pictures with him. He is the King! I cannot WAIT to see him again!
Louis C.K. is one of the most respected stand-up comedians working today. He appeared as number 98 on Comedy Central’s list of 100 greatest stand-ups of all time. His credits as a writer include “Saturday Night Live”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, and “The Chris Rock Show.” In the spring of 2005 C.K. created a sitcom for HBO entitled “Lucky Louie”, described as a realistic portrayal of family life; some summarize it as "Everybody Loves Raymond” with swearing.
