Actor-comedian Chris Kattan has had a great deal of comedy success on the stage, in films and on the small screen. The list of his most memorable Saturday Night Live characters stretches over nearly a decade on the show, including such favorites as Mr. Peppers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, Kyle DeMarco and Suel Forrester. His stint as half of the head-bobbing Butabi brothers, alongside fellow cast member Will Ferrell, saw him make the leap onto the big screen in 1998's A Night at the Roxbury. Also a former member of the world-renowned improv/sketch troupe the Groundlings, Kattan has continued to perform on stage, including headlining stand-up comedy events at clubs and theaters around the country. rex was pretty funny ... i think was actually expecting him to much funnier though given his reputation and all. however, the comedian joey guila ... he was hilarious! he's very talented! everyone in our party could not stop laughing.
Rex Navarrete has been a part of the local comedy scene since 1989. He has performed at the Punchline, the Holy City Zoo, and has entertained college crowds up and down the west and east coast. He has opened for another Bay Area local, Rob Schneider of "Saturday Night Live" fame and comedian Mr. Paul Mooney, writer for "In Living Color".
Rex may have grown up in the US, but his Pinoy sensibility is deeply ingrained in his principles, and is distinctly evident in his bittersweet, introspective personal tales that reflect the tragi-comic experiences of Filipino immigrants and their hybrid offspring. Navarrete’s routines touch on issues of home life, family, race issues, and religion with good natured stabs of his Filipino culture - and nothing is sacred.

In June of 2005, Rex performed live at the SF Warfield for a live DVD taping, where he headlined the sold-out 1,800 capacity theater. His new DVD “Badass Madapaka” was just completed, and will be out soon. This comics’ popularity just keeps growing and growing with all kinds of audiences.

Don’t miss this unstoppable force known as Rex Navarrete!
