During the 80s Barry Sobel toured the comedy circuit with a routine centered around rapping in a Beastie Boys style. He appeared in the movies Revenge of the Nerds II and Punchline and was a writer for Saturday Night Live during its 2000-2001 season. He has done a great deal of voiceover work including on shows like "The Boondocks" and "Dr. Katz." Most recently he appears in David Allen Grier's new show "Chocolate News" on Comedy Central.
