Stars of MTV's hit comedy series Girl Code Jessimae Peluso and Carly Aquilino trade the small screen for the big stage for this evening of stand-up. Described as "a bottle rocket with a pulse," Jessimae Peluso is a dynamic performer who riffs on everything from her fear of children to her infatuation with John Stamos to her inability to talk dirty with her Syracuse accent. In addition to TV appearances on E!'s Chelsea Lately, MTV's Girl Code and Failosophy, Peluso was named one of the funniest comics to follow on Twitter by The Huffington Post. She's joined by her Girl Code co-star Carly Aquilino, a New York native with a razor-sharp wit who's quickly rising in the comedy scene, performing regularly at The Stand Comedy Club in New York City. For five years Bill Bellamy had the unique opportunity to host “MTV Jamz” where he was able to cleverly blend an eclectic mix of street culture, locker room observations and a myriad of experiences placing him well ahead of the new generation of funny men. It was the combination of Bill’s professionalism, style and charismatic personality which scored him top interviews with some of the hottest talent in town.
Bill has co-starred in several small and big screen features including “Def Comedy Jam National Tour,” “Love Jones,” “Love Stinks,” “Any Given Sunday,” “The Brothers,” and Fox TV show “Fastlane.” Bill has also made guest appearances on “The Best Damn Sports Show Period,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” His intelligence and infectious humor landed the comedian a guest-correspondent stint on “Entertainment Tonight.” Bellamy also co-hosted the prestigious Malibu MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards and the Diversity Awards with Kathy Griffin for the Multicultural Motion Pictures Association. He is currently the host of “Last Comic Standing.”
