The Punch Line welcomes comedian Greg Proops. Best known for his appearances on TV's Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the Bay Area native has also appeared on dozens of TV shows, including the second-season premiere of HBO's Flight of the Conchords and hosted a game show on the Science Channel. He is a frequent guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Bret was HILARIOUS!!! His humor is driven my his life experiences and the audience appreciated that. We all jumped on board his "crazy" train and laughed like crazy.
Opening fellow, the local guy, was extremely funny too!!!
GREAT evening of comedy.
Ernst is the host of the new Oxygen series _Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too, _and can also be seen in his own _Comedy Central Presents special. He was most recently seen on the BET series One Mic Stand_ and the Showtime series Comics Without Borders.
He also recently starred in the feature film Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show, now out on DVD. The film documents Ernst with Vaughn and 3 other comedians as they perform to sold out crowds in a 30-night 30-venue tour across America.
Bret was a recurring character on the hit Showtime series_ Weeds,_ and has guest starred on _CSI: NY. _He appeared in Artie Lange’s movie Beer League, and hosted the series Wrestling Society X on MTV. His stand-up has been featured on The Late Late Show on CBS and on Comedy Central’s _Premium Blend. _He has made celebrity appearances on Chelsea Lately, Comics Unleashed, E!‘s _Top Ten _and Fox’s_ The Sports List._
Born in New Jersey, Bret went to high school at Plantation High in South Florida, played collegiate level football at C.W. Post in New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
