the show was most of the time not funny. really was expecting something great from a SNL member. she should bounce her ideas off test audiences, and select or refine the skits.

Wish we'd known it was going to be an evening of improv rather than stand up. It was very uneven. A tip would've been the fact that it was "& Friends" I guess. Also ... don't order the Margaritas @ Cobb's. Very bad. Stick w/ well drinks, beer...continued

I really like Cecily Strong on SNL, and was quite surprised at how bad this show was. The improv didn't go any where, and I wish she'd done more with the new characters she was trying out. Maybe she's more comfortable with scripted sketch...continued

Cecily Strong joined the cast of _Saturday Night Live _in the Fall of 2012. Previous to SNL, Cecily performed as a member of the Second City National Touring Company and served as an understudy for the Second City Main Stage and ETC shows in Chicago. She also improvised regularly at iO in Chicago.

She studied improvisation at both Second City and ImprovOlympic in Chicago, and she appeared at the Chicago Sketchfest, Chicago Just for Laughs, the New York Sketch Fest, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

Cecily Strong has a BFA in Theatre from the California Institute of the Arts, and she was raised in Oak Park, Illinois.
