Actor-comedian Chris Kattan has had a great deal of comedy success on the stage, in films and on the small screen. The list of his most memorable Saturday Night Live characters stretches over nearly a decade on the show, including such favorites as Mr. Peppers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, Kyle DeMarco and Suel Forrester. His stint as half of the head-bobbing Butabi brothers, alongside fellow cast member Will Ferrell, saw him make the leap onto the big screen in 1998's A Night at the Roxbury. Also a former member of the world-renowned improv/sketch troupe the Groundlings, Kattan has continued to perform on stage, including headlining stand-up comedy events at clubs and theaters around the country. This was my first time seeing Craig Shoemaker. He far exceeded my expectations. The opener was a dud but Shoemaker brought the crowd back to life and we laughed continuously. One of the better shows I've seen at Cobb's, I can't wait to see him again.
