I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've seen Dana Gould. It turns out he is currently going through a divorce, and his comedy went to some VERY dark places last night. I mean, he's still funny, but this is the first time I've shed real tears (as opposed to tears of laughter) at a comedy show, when he was talking about his dog dying. He segued into a hilarious routine about cremating a horse and managed to cheer up the room. Both opening comics, Phil Hanley and Kevin O'Shea, were very good. I always prefer the more intimate Punch Line to its larger sibling, Cobb's -- the sightlines are great no matter where you're seated, and the service is super fast & friendly.

One of the funniest shows I've been to. Do not miss Dana. You will laugh non-stop and wish it would never end.

I have been a huge fan of Dana since 1986, I probably saw his first show in SF.

would love to tell him so personally. Is there any way to do that?

Dana was great. His opening act was really good, so we were ready for Dana's set. He was able to mix nice family humor with just enough edgy stuff to keep everyone on their toes. Can't wait to see him again.
