DeRay Davis is a hilarious comedian whose career has spanned the worlds of stand-up, TV, film and hip-hop. A favorite at comedy clubs across America, he's also had his own hour-long Showtime special, a half-hour special on Comedy Central, and appearances on BET's ComicView and Comedy Central's Premium Blend. He's also toured the country with Cedric the Entertainer. Davis acted in the hit films 21 Jump Street, Barbershop, Barbershop 2 and many more. On TV, he provided numerous voices for The Boondocks, and acted on Entourage and Reno 911. He may have reached his widest audience, though, when he wrote and performed the comedy skits on Kanye West's albums Late Registration and The College Dropout -- a job that led to a live appearance at the 2006 Grammy Awards alongside West and Jamie Foxx. Like West, Davis is from Chicago's South Side, and now lives in Los Angeles -- but you can see him in San Francisco when he headlines Cobb's Comedy Club.
