My wife and I were in Frisco (yeah, I know they hate that name) on a vacation trip from L.A. It was a blind purchase since I hadn't heard of Drennon Davis before. The club was basically on the corner of Haight and Ashbury (a planned stop) so we killed two birds with one stone. There were seven comedians all together (including the emcee), two bombed, one was adequate and four were hilarious (Davis, Trans Morgan, Big Al, the emcee, and the girl from St. Louis). It was a small setting but we got there early, enjoyed a calzone at a local eatery (All You Knead) and had sweet seats for a 2 hour show. Good job Goldstar.
