We really enjoyed Gabriel Iglesias. He and the opening comedians are a great team. We'd seen him before at the Improv in San Jose.
Cobb's Comedy Club, however, was packed up real tight. They squeeze as many people as they can in there. There is a two drink minimum, and even if you buy food, it doesn't count towards it. So a cheap night (tickets only came out to $13 a piece), was not so cheap anymore. Even a small fountain soft drink, which was mostly ice, was $4. The margaritas were $10.25, and they were not large drinks. That's where they make all their money I suppose, but we felt kind of ripped off. Other comedy clubs we've been to, let you count any food you buy towards the minimum (Rooster T. Feathers, the Improv). Bottom line, we had a great time though.
