Comedian Michael McDonald headlines Cobb's Comedy Club with his wacky stand-up comedy. McDonald is best known for his 10 years on Fox's MADtv, during which time he created such memorable characters as eccentric kid Stuart Larkin, nerdy college student Rusty Miller, Marvin Tikvah, Mofaz the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man, and Bible Dude. He's also acted on Seinfeld, NewsRadio and Ellen, and appeared in all three Austin Powers movies. He directed and guest starred on several episodes of Scrubs, and wrote and directed several episodes of ABC's Cougar Town. Jeff Ross is one of the most versatile talents working in stand up and television comedy today. Jeffrey’s show-stopping performances at the Friars Club Roasts inspired New York Magazine to good-naturedly crown him the "Meanest Man in Comedy." Jeffrey sits on the Board of the New York Friars Club and was instrumental in bringing their annual celebrity roast to Comedy Central – where he is one of the producers of what continues to be that network’s highest rated broadcast year after year.
Jeff’s dozens of TV appearances include “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno,” “Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn,” “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” “Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher,” ABC’s “The View,” and “Hollywood Squares” among others. Jeffrey Ross has written for many popular films and TV shows including the 2000 Academy Awards hosted by Billy Crystal, the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Jamie Foxx, and The Man Show on Comedy Central.
Jeffrey has appeared on HBO’s “Six Feet Under,” and co-starred in sitcom pilots for both ABC and NBC. Jeffrey has starred in two stand-up comedy specials on Comedy Central, has performed at every major comedy festival and donates his talents to many causes every year including the annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.
