We arrived early to Cobb's to have dinner before the show, were seated in the front row. The Cobb's staff are all very professional and as always Joe Rogan, Ari Shaffir and Joey "Coco" Diaz had the audience roaring with laughter.

The evening started with Joey doing the opening act which is full of drug related stories, sad but true ones. Joey introduced Ari who has an act full of pooping stories, sex stories and some racial humor. The headliner Joe Rogan came out and the audience went crazy with applause. Joe is a good stand up comedian ... and I do hope that Goldstar will have tickets to future events of his in Northern California.

Joe Rogan rocks! I was crying I laughed so hard! And not like I cried for a moment then stopped but I cried for minutes on end. His humor is so worng and the whole time I was laughing I couldn't help but feel a little guilty, his jokes are so wrong. I have watched him many times over the years and each time i am always amazed how fresh his routines are. How does this guy come up with so much crazy stuff? I highly recommend anyone who isn't easily offended to go. I did notice some old folks walk out during his routine but then again they should have a warning with this guy that says "Explicit material may offend!"

I really enjoyed him and didn't expect to. He was very funny in person and has a different delivery with comedy which was refreshing.

More Information About Comedian Joe Rogan

Description

Regardless of his success in television, Joe Rogan's true love is stand-up comedy. But stand-up was never in Joe's original career plan, nor was television or acting of any kind. So how did this accidental performer wind up with a career in stand-up, a role on "NewsRadio", host of "Fear Factor" and "The Man Show"? The answer is simple: Tae Kwon Do.

Joe began practicing martial arts at the age of 13. Within two years, the Boston native earned a black belt and soon became the Massachusetts full contact Tae Kwon Do champion four consecutive years. By the age of 19, Rogan won the US Open Tae Kwon Do Championship, and in true Joe Rogan fashion, the lightweight champion went on to beat both the middle and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship. Joe credits Tae Kwon Do for his discipline and focus, two characteristics that have aided him in his accomplishments.

After much prodding from his friends, Joe tried his hand as a stand-up at an open mic night and was hooked immediately. With 15 years of stand-up comedy under his belt, Joe's honest, inquisitive comedic style has made him a national headliner, a favorite performer at the prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and at Just For Laughs in Montreal and he is a regular guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

In 2000, Joe released his groundbreaking debut comedy album, "I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday," on Warner Bros. Records. He recently recorded a follow-up CD for a 2007 release. Joe was host of the hugely successful reality show, "Fear Factor," for six seasons on NBC. Prior to "Fear Factor", Rogan charmed viewers as Joe Garrelli, the resident electrician at WNYX Radio on the hit NBC comedy series "NewsRadio," and he was the host of "The Man Show" for Comedy Central.

Since 2002, Joe has provided color commentary for the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on Pay Per View and Spike Television. On November 30, 2006, Joe debuted as the host of the new Spike TV show, "Inside The UFC," a weekly magazine-style series featuring the latest from the world of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Joe hosts "UFC Wired," a weekly, syndicated, hour program for the 2007-2008 season.

On April 10, 2007, Joe released his new live comedy CD, Shiny Happy Jihad, on Comedy Central Records. Nine days later, his first live hour comedy television special, "Joe Rogan Live," debuted on Showtime.

Joe resides in Los Angeles and regularly performs stand-up locally and nationally.
