Get out this weekend for some stand-up comedy! Winner of NBC's hit reality series Last Comic Standing, John Heffron has become the comic to watch and love. The Detroit funnyman, who Phyllis Diller referred to as "the cute one," has won a talent contract with NBC, and has appeared on VH1, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, roasted Gene Simmons on Gene Simmons Family Jewels and starred in his own half-hour Comedy Central Presents special. On the radio, he acted as Danny Bonaduce's sidekick on a highly rated morning show on Q95-5 in Detroit, as well as his own show, John Heffron's Class Clown on NowLive.com. Growing up, getting married and having kids has tempered his comedy with cynical wisdom, but his act still retains a measure of youthful enthusiasm.

Fast paced comic with good audience connection. Show proceded by excellent warm-up act. Cobb's doesn't always make you buy the second drink.

There's a reason this man won the Last Comic Standing title.

He is still as funny -- smart, intelligent humor without the attitude or political smugness (Dennis Miller) -- and without the barrage of swearing to fill in for lack of an articulate vocabulary as demonstrated by some comedians. His themes are very relatable. His delivery is snappy. He doesn't humiliate -- embarass, yes, but never mean-spirited. A great evening all around. The opening comic was a hoot, too!

Great Comic. One of the best I've seen of late.

While not dirty - defnitely a lot less clean cut than he was on Last Comic Standing. Very good off the cuff with some audience members as well....

I'll definitely see him his next go around in the Bay area.

The opener and MC Ryan Stout continues to impress me - have seen him open seveal shows at cobbs and punchline and his act continues to crack me up even after seeing it sev3eral times.

Middle comedian was quite forgettable...
