Stars of MTV's hit comedy series Girl Code Jessimae Peluso and Carly Aquilino trade the small screen for the big stage for this evening of stand-up. Described as "a bottle rocket with a pulse," Jessimae Peluso is a dynamic performer who riffs on everything from her fear of children to her infatuation with John Stamos to her inability to talk dirty with her Syracuse accent. In addition to TV appearances on E!'s Chelsea Lately, MTV's Girl Code and Failosophy, Peluso was named one of the funniest comics to follow on Twitter by The Huffington Post. She's joined by her Girl Code co-star Carly Aquilino, a New York native with a razor-sharp wit who's quickly rising in the comedy scene, performing regularly at The Stand Comedy Club in New York City. I thought Josh Blue and the emcee did a really good job. The comic in the middle (Clint Jackson) was a hit with the folks that I went with, but I personally think Clint's comedy could be vastly improved if he worked on his timing / delivery.

I really enjoyed this show. Cobbs Comedy Club was a decent club, and seeing Josh on stage was awesome. He is so funny! Of course the company you attend with does help to have a good night. So take someone that can laugh with you!

Josh Blue is a diverse and triumphant individual – hilarious stand-up comedian, stand out guest star on television, talented artist, and stellar U.S. Paralympics Soccer player – refusing to bow to any of the challenges that come from living with Cerebral Palsy. Josh uses his incredible sense of humor and versatile personality to defy stereotypes and encourage others to overcome their preconceived notions about people who are considered “disabled”. His unique brand of “reverse teasing” affords him the great joy of “humbling condescending people”. Josh is recognized as a guest on Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia” and can currently be seen on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”.
