Laurie Kilmartin was a breath of fresh air. We both thoroughly enjoyed her performance which included appropriate and entertaining kidding of audience members, sexual references and references to her child. She definitely brought a touch of class to the Punchline.

Laurie totally killed; it's so refreshing to have an intelligent, feminist perspective on a comedy stage. I love good comedy, but I have to sit thru so much mind-numbingly boring dreck from male comics who clearly (I can only conclude this based on what comes out of their mouths) have no other thought in life than their depressing, degrading sexual fantasies and getting their sperm out. If you think I'm exaggerating, go listen to the next 20 or 30 on any stage, anywhere.

Laurie Kilmartin was hilarious! She had material that was unique compared to the traditional topics. I was disappointed with the openers as they had used the same material for another show the week before word for word the exact same routine. But Laurie was great! I would see her again the next time she is in town.

Laurie Kilmartin had some funny jokes, but her pacing was strange. It seemed as if she was bored and didn't want to be there. I think it is supposed to be her shtick, but it didn't work for me. It was entertaining, but I wouldn't see her again.

Sherry Sirof was odd. She had many offensive jokes that made the audience cringe, and not in a good way. Her comedy set jumped around from topic to topic with no cohesive transitions. It was a bit like being inside the head of a hyperactive kid on Ritalin. They are sort of drugged, but their thoughts are still racing.

Julian Vance had the best stage presence of the bunch. His did the best job at connecting with the audience. He is a young comic. His jokes could use some improvement, but I am sure he will improve with more experience.

All in all...not a stellar night at the Punch line.
