Description

Rex Navarrete is originally from San Francisco, but has gained a massive international underground following over a decade in the business both live and on the Internet with his now infamous “Maritess vs. The Superfriends” animation. Navarrete has performed his brand of comedy all across the nation touring numerous colleges, universities and community events and has become a household name in Filipino-American homes. He has released three comedy albums as well as two live DVDs. The latest, Badass Madapaka, was filmed in front of a sold-out Warfield Theater in San Francisco and the Wiltern Theater in L.A.

His most recent projects include his own television series, “Rex in the City,” for MTV Philippines, and the animated series “The Nutshack,” in which he voices many of the series’ key characters in the groundbreaking Filipino-American animated production.
