One of today's rising comedy stars, Barry Rothbart recently made his debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where he killed it with his easy, natural disposition and quirky personal stories about everything from the bizarre things he's seen around L.A. to his vision of what he'll be like as an old man. He can be seen on TV in national commercials for Taco Bell, Honda and Miller Light, and in TNT's Men of a Certain Age and the 2012 season of MTV's Punk'd. Rothbart was named a "Best of the Fest" performer at the 2011 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and has been seen on TBS's Conan. He's even got a role in the upcoming Martin Scorsese movie The Wolf of Wall Street. See him in person at the San Francisco Punch Line. Learn More

Absolutely casual and comfortable.

2 drink minimum is easy to fulfill; good bar menu but not a lot for vegetarians.

Probably very difficult (financial district) to park on weekends; OK street parking on weeknight.

Written on Jul 25 2011As everyone else has said, Scott Cappuro says scandalous and potentially offensive things. As long as you have a sense of humor and realize everyone else is laughing too, you'll enjoy yourself tremendously.
Written on Jul 25 2011Scott is talented and sharp. The openers were also pretty good.
Good time had by all!
Written on Jul 22 2011Scott is very funny, but if you're like the bigoted self-confessed tourists from Illinois, don't come. You won't enjoy it and you'll ruin it for the rest of us.
Written on Jul 22 2011Scott gets a little mean, but that's his way and that's partly what we're paying for. I'm glad I wasn't one of his targets, though. Went a little long for my taste. I'd rather a show end leaving me wanting more. I got worn out. 5 stars for the bonus comedian who wasn't on the bill. Can't remember his name.
